Managing Director

Jeff Cope

Jeff has over 25 years of strategic planning, business development, and business transformation leadership experience. Having worked with mid-market, closely held and family-owned businesses his entire career Jeff has a unique understanding of how these enterprises operate and the challenges they face.

He is passionate about working with business leaders to build strong cultures while developing and executing strategies that deliver exceptional results that benefit all the company’s stakeholders. Jeff’s hands-on approach to working with companies begins with a commonsense approach to strategy development.

With extensive experience in organizational turnaround and growth Jeff follows a defined process (disciplined, focused, intentional) to guide clients from strategy to execution. His experience covers a multitude of industries, with an in-depth understanding of automotive manufacturing.

Jeff holds a master’s in business administration from the Capital University School of Management and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Ohio Dominican University.

Executive Assistant

Emily Cox

Emily serves as the executive assistant for JACO Advisory Group. With an attention to detail, clear communication, and efficient coordination, Emily serves both internal and external customers with the utmost care and respect.

She has years of experience working with mid-market and family business owners spanning a variety of business sectors through her previous work in aircraft finance. Her love of serving the middle market business community makes her a tremendous resource for JACO and the clients we serve.

An alum of Ohio University, Emily graduated with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Aviation Flight and Aviation Management.

Senior Director

Tom Crawford

Tom has over 35 years of diverse manufacturing experience, 32 of which were spent at Honda of America Manufacturing in engineering and leadership roles at Honda’s US Manufacturing, Japan Manufacturing, North American Operations, and R&D.

Among his specialties, Tom excels in engineering team development, new model development, product start-ups, corporate strategy, integrated problem solving, especially across divisions (manufacturing, sales, and R&D), and establishing fundamental information security practices to protect intellectual property.

While at Honda, Tom served as Quality Product Leader for several Civic and Acura new model developments and start-ups. In this role, he directed the Parts Quality and Product Engineering teams. Areas of expertise include joint ventures with suppliers to help establish stable manufacturing processes through advanced verification methods.

Tom also championed Honda North America's transformation from physical prototype to 'no prototype' developments. This paradigm shift saved millions of dollars of development cost (by the elimination of physical prototype) while speeding up time to market and enabling product life cycle management without degrading overall vehicle quality.

Adding to a diverse career, Tom led the design and execution of Honda’s North American Manufacturing Corporate business strategy and annual operating plan. During a six-year period, Tom solidified the company strategy creation method and leadership training to assure consistency and process efficiency.

Tom has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from The Ohio State University and is a member of the American Society for Quality and a Certified Quality Engineer (CQE). He has served his community through several volunteer board-level endeavors including six years with Opera Columbus.

Managing Director

Kevin Griffin

Kevin is an experienced executive with over 40 years of senior financial management experience. He has worked in both public and privately held businesses as well as regulated industries. He has an in-depth background in SEC reporting, regulatory compliance, treasury and cash management, credit relationships, global tax reporting and compliance, risk management, and company equity and retirement plans.

In addition to his technical background Kevin has extensive experience in strategic planning, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, divestures and dissolutions, capital formation, and business valuations. His experience spans multiple industries - public accounting, manufacturing, financial services, insurance - in both high growth and turnaround operations.

His ability to problem solve is aided by a well-developed ability to create solutions by listening to and asking probing questions, of the various stakeholders of a business.

Kevin is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA). In addition to serving in his corporate roles, he has also served in interim and transitional management C-level executive positions, such as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Restructuring Officer on a consulting basis.

Kevin holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Central Michigan University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.

Chris Intihar

Chris spent the past 3 decades as part of high performance, global businesses in general management (P&L responsibility), marketing, sales, strategy, and M&A roles. He partnered with customers to drive growth in business to business environments at General Electric and consumer products at Scotts Miracle Gro.

Chris holds a BS Engineering from Ohio State University and an MBA and MS Engineering from the University of Southern California.

Tim Martin

Tim is a proven leader with over 30 years of Marketing and Sales experience within the consumer products and goods industry. He has experience in growing leading brands like Chiquita, Borden, Scotts, Miracle-Gro and Roundup. His extensive leadership experience spans across General Management and P&L ownership, Marketing and Sales, New Product Development, Consumer Research and Insight, Strategic Planning and M&A.

Currently he is serving as Chair of Marburn Academy’s Board of Trustees, a school that serves children who learn differently due to executive function, ADHD, and dyslexia learning challenges.

Tim holds a BS Degree in Business from Miami University in Ohio and an MBA from Clark University in Massachusetts.

Managing Director

Rob Quick

Rob has over 35 years of automotive experience, 25 with Honda of America Manufacturing. His specialty is helping manufacturing facilities turn their operations around.

He has supported companies through bank workouts, cash burn analysis, and developing plans of reorganization to exit bankruptcy. His experience with operations of all types of production facilities gives him a comprehensive proficiency when it comes to addressing unprofitable practices and cultures.

Rob is certified by the Turnaround Management Association as a Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP).

During several new model launches, Rob managed the Marysville Auto Plant’s mass production purchasing department. He was responsible for the supply chain and synchronization of over 4 million parts daily.

Before Honda, Rob was the regional quality auditor for MascoTech Stamping Technologies, responsible for plants in Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio. He was often recruited by Nissan to evaluate potential new suppliers.

Rob holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ferris State University. He is a senior member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and was a Certified Quality Auditor through the American Society of Quality.
