Starting Monday November 2nd at 10:00 a.m. The State of Ohio is making two relief packages available to Ohio small businesses that have been negatively affected by the novel coronavirus.  The $125 million Small Business Relief Grant and the $38.7 million Bar and Restaurant Assistance Fund is being made available through funding received by the State of Ohio from the federal CARES Act.

Ohio based small business with 25 employees or less will be able to apply for these $10,000 grants on a first come first serve basis starting Monday at 10:00 a.m.  To ensure that businesses in each of Ohio’s 88 countries have an opportunity to participate at least $500,000 grant monies will be set aside for each county.

We encourage our Ohio based small business clients and friends to look into these grants to see if your business qualifies.  If you need assistance in seeing if your business qualifies or applying for either of these grants please contact Jeff Cope or Rob Quick.

If you are going to apply for a grant you need to set-up and account with the State of Ohio by going to Create OH ID Account.  We strongly recommend doing this in advance of Monday morning if you don’t already have an account.  Additionally, we would recommend that you have all of your materials prepared to aid in a quick and efficient application process.
